Discovery & community
Discover is Koo's public gallery: every app with a published app page shows up there, and anyone can browse it — no sign-in required. The community layer on top — upvotes, comments, follows — requires a Koo account.
Browse Discover
Three controls shape what you see:
- Search matches an app's name, tagline, and description.
- Filters narrow by category — a fixed list such as Web Apps, APIs & Backends, Developer Tools, AI & ML, and Games — and by the free-form tags makers add to their app pages.
- Sort picks the ranking:
| Sort | What it ranks |
|---|---|
| Trending | Engagement weighted toward the recent. An app picking up upvotes and comments right now outranks one with a larger but older total. |
| New | Most recently published apps first. |
| Top | All-time engagement. |
Results load as a continuous list; keep scrolling to see more.
Upvote apps
Upvote an app from its public page or its Discover card.
- One upvote per account per app.
- Upvotes are removable — undo yours at any time.
- Upvotes feed the Trending and Top rankings.
Comments
You can comment on any public app page. Threads allow one level of replies: you can reply to a top-level comment, but not to a reply, which keeps discussions flat and readable.
Other accounts can vote each comment up or down, and comment activity counts toward an app's ranking signals.
You comment as your selected account. If you belong to more than one account — a personal account and a team account, say — check which one is active before posting; the comment is attributed to that account's handle and profile.
Follow makers
Follow an account from its profile or from any of its app pages to keep up with what it ships. Follows are public: they count toward the account's follower total shown on its profile.
Like comments and upvotes, you follow as your selected account, and you can unfollow at any time.
Reporting & moderation
If you see content that crosses the line — spam, abuse, anything that violates Koo's terms — report it. Comments, app pages, and profiles can all be reported; pick a reason and optionally add detail. Reports go to Koo's moderation team for review.
When moderation removes content, or its author deletes their account, the content is replaced in place with a [deleted] placeholder rather than erased. Replies and vote counts stay intact, so threads remain readable.
Community expectations
Be respectful, be honest about what you ship, and keep it lawful — the full rules live in Koo's terms and acceptable-use policy.
